Chiara Mameli graduated in Biotechnologies and Health Biology from the University of Padova.
For her master’s thesis, she joined the group under the supervision of Martina Calore, where she investigated hiPSC-derived cardiac models for Arrhytmogenic Cardiomyopathy. Her research focused on the characterization of both 2D and 3D cardiac models and included studies on long non coding RNA modulation.
Following her internship, she has joined the group as Research Assistant. Her current research focuses on the mechanobiology of hiPSC-derived cardiac models, investigating how mechanical cues influence cardiac function and behaviour.
